Three Books Every Developer Should Have on Their Shelf

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Are you building systems that have long-term sustainability and that will be easy to maintain and adapt to changing business conditions?

Adopting and adapting agility requires more than just process changes. This session will focus on technical practices taken from the three books Dion most often recommends when coaching teams adopting agile methods. It will cover test-driven development at both a unit and acceptance test level, working with legacy code (code written without automated tests), and stability patterns for building resilient systems.

No previous knowledge of any of these practices is required. Attendees will leave with practical, pragmatic techniques they can apply immediately as well as knowledge of where to go to get deeper information about these practices.
